Why Would God Be Interested In Creating Anything?

1. But isn't god love. What type of love demands blind obedience?
2.Why does his faith need to be tested. This god seems really petty and controlling.
3. But why the lie and the pettiness.

If god were a human, he would be an abusive husband.

I think we're just going round the bush here repeating ourselves. I don't have to convince you or try to prove God to you in any way because that's just going to be impossible. If your trying to "FIGURE" this amazing God out - you NEVER will. There have been many many atheists around who have been there and eventually given their lives to Jesus. Praise him forevermore!!!

You will stand before him one day to give an account of the life that you lived. He LOVES you whether you choose to follow him or NOT!

Peace!!

I would check the other thread. The god of the bible lies often. See Genesis, the sacrifice of Isaac, the escape from Egypt by Moses, and the story of Job.
There are no lies in any of those things. You are just interpreting it that way because you hate God. Right?

If the God of the Bible is true, you hate him, right? Because you think he is unfair? Because he will punish mankind for their wickedness?

Why don't you hate our judicial system? They do the same thing?

Like I said before, God is Holy, and doesn't accept the evils we do.

I'm giving you an objective analysis of the bible. You may not have experienced it before.

3. Children don't go to Hell, believe it or not. God can kill children to punish the sins of the adults, like he did with King David. And who knows, maybe if he didn't kill them they would grow up to do something horrible. Point is, God knows what he is doing, and we are not the ones to tell him otherwise. You only sympathize with the people he destroyed because you are wicked, too.

I'm sorry but that sentence makes me feel extremely uneasy regardless of context or however you dress it up. That is just wrong.

But god does not have free will (atleast it is not mentioned in the bible). If fact the bible says that god does not change (Malachi 3:6; Psalm 102:26-27). Therefore choice is impossible.

Almost makes sense................................. but.............. God has free will and changes not.......... That does not mean God orders the same pizza every single time he goes out for pizza. If God likes pizza, then he may order different one.

God does not also change what He said in his Word based on Love, and being good.

Man makes choices, not based on love or being good all the the time.

It doesn't make me feel uneasy because of the implication. It makes me uneasy because people would accept the meaning as right.
Well it's the truth.

God has killed many first borns as punishment for sins.

He killed Pharoah's first born for his hard heart, and he killed David's first born for his adultery.

We are sinners, we deserve anything God throws at us. But the one thing we don't deserve he gave to us, his only Son.

But god hardened his heart. It seems clear that the god of the bible is an abuser.
