We are in the end times for sure, crime has escalated to a massive degree. Sin abounds and the devil is doing a lot of mind work in peoples minds nowadays. May america be blessed, and the west coast fires be made under control. God bless america.
Prayers on the way for all natural destruction going on, for there is much more than just fires out west.
I remember a lightening strike started a fire when I lived in Idaho. Before we knew it the mountainsides were burning in rows of glowing orange at night. During the summer of 98' in Volusia county FL we had heat fires burning so thick the smoke would roll in like fog. Never mind how many hurricanes Ive managed to survive through both in FL, and in NC which brings tornados. The summer of 88' in Council bluffs IA, was the last year I lived in the Midwest. Tornado activity took an over 200 year old oak in our front yard and turned it upside down three inches away from our window. A friends home was lifted off its foundation while she was in the basement, spun around and set back down three feet over.
Natural disasters are nothing new, and no one part of this nation is spared from bad weather systems. I did have a home burn all the way to the ground back in 04'. Its just buildings, its just stuff, and some of us might need to remember that. Lets remember pray for no loss of life in all natural disasters around America, and the world.

Lanolin, it is fairly common to have occasional dry conditions west of the Rocky Mountains in the USA. However, this year it is abnormally dry because the way that a Pacific High Pressure Ridge and the Jet Stream have failed to bring rain showers into the southwestern USA from the Pacific Ocean.

Ok...global warming in a nutshell.
Although something must be done about the huge ocean of plastic rubbish dump blobbing about the northwest pacific ocean. Am sure that's affecting things.

Agreed. The "El Nino" effect in the south Pacific has been shown to cause extreme dry conditions across the USA as well as increased hurricane activity in the Atlantic and as of today there are 7 systems in the Atlantic.
Now, it just may be that God is in the process of judging America. THINK!
California, Oregon and Washington state have been at the front of riots, protests, deaths and civil unrest for about 4 months now.
Am I the only only seeing a pattern here????
The problem with this kind of question is that only history will give the answer.

It just seems odd that some states are defunding 1st responders, firing police, restricting fire departments, and then ask for prayer for those very same elements that are being condemned.
Now, instead of conjecture and opinions, consider the FACTS of todays society that we live in. As a society we have rejected God and His Word. The Bible is not permitted in the school systems and neither is prayer, while witchcraft is openly promoted. The church of Wicca is a tax exempt church just like the Baptist church.
People who have rejected God have given themselves over to the occult with the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings book series selling and breaking sales records. Little children and adults have accepted and witchcraft and the occult. Immorality is rampant in the land with all kinds of sexual immorality practiced. Socially accepted norms are fornication, adultery, and now homosexual marriages are normal.
Those are observable facts.
Luke 13:1-5 says,
“There were some present at that very time who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And He answered them, ‘Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.'”
mmm why only america. Isn't God going to be judging all of mankind, not just America.
I find it a bit silly that the Bible isn't allowed in schools in America. I mean do librarians get told NO you can't have a copy of the Bible in the library but you can have any other kind of book. Here in NZ we have Bibles in Schools as a volunteer program run by volunteers and it's the second largest charity in NZ and they do it every week, cos Lord knows many teachers don't have the time. We make the time. Usually half an hour each week.
In high schools the christians have always been allowed to have fellowship time at lunch time and prayer groups.
Some schools have dedicated prayer time, depending on their teacher. Not all teachers are believers though. But it's never mandated that state schools CAN'T teach bible, whats happened is that catholic schools want it taught a certain way, and so they they don't allow volunteers in THEIR schools. There are also many other Christian based schools that incorporate the Bible in their classes every day. Just depends on the Principals.
The thing is, in all my years of teaching and helping Bibles in schools, it isn't the children that don't want it, its just one or two athiest parents who complain...but surprisingly, it might even be one or two super-religious parents that don't want it because it's not taught how THEY want it to be taught. Well thing is it has always been OPTIONAL you can opt out of it if you DON'T want your children going to that class.

Hi, Lanolin - I couldn't remember what the start of all this was, so I looked up just why Prayer and Bibles were taken out of USA schools and this here link below, is one of the better ones to read about it. This includes the court case and other reference material. This dates back to 1962.

Will the forest management step up their responsibility when all these fires are over. I heard your President thinks it’s because of poor forest management 
^Our president is partially correct, but where is the money suppose to come from for proper wildlife/forest management? Then people like me get abased for stating anything about illegal immigration spending, and the associated problems it brings. ---BUT--- We cant even take care of our public lands, veteran's of war, or provide our legal citizens with a livable minimum wage. That's when I pray instead of scream at the top of my lungs-
I talked to my sister in California. Evacuees from the El Dorado fire are staying near her. She is involved with comfort pets. She has a wonderful dog which she takes hospitals and nursing homes to bring a little warmth and joy to those lives. She is now helping to brighten the day of these evacuees.
