"WHY YOU CAN’T RUB OUT THE JEW!"

"The Jew is often referred to as “the man without a country.” From another viewpoint, the Jew is the only man on earth who has a country promised to him by the original Creator of all things - a country on this earth forever. On the deed of the gift are the words: ‘I AM THE ALMIGHTY GOD’ – and there is no other nationality that can show such a claim to any portion of the earth. Since the Almighty has spoken and has laid down the boundaries of the land that is to be Israel’s, how foolish it was for the wise of the earth to talk of colonizing them in Madagascar, Australia or Tanganyika!
This by no mean signifies that every individual Jew has a portion in that promised land, for those who have chosen the way of sin and unbelief have their portion with all others who reject the Lamb of God, but it does mean that “when the Deliverer shall come out of Zion,” the remnant from the “time of Jacob’s trouble” will have their portion in the land of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and never again shall they be made afraid.
No nation can trace its lineage by the clear light of religious history so far back as the Jew. They had literature before most nations had letters, a literature that is today more widely diffused than that of any other people. In comparison with the Jews, the nations making history today are but babes.
Some uninformed Christians today fume because prophetic teachers have so much to say about the Jews. That is because they know not their Bibles. The Jew is the key to prophecy, and all prophecy is intimately concerned with the Jew.
When we speak of the Jews we are speaking of a people that had their origin in a miracle. From 90 year-old Sarah, sterile and past hope, was born Isaac, from Isaac came Jacob, and from Jacob the twelve tribes of Israel. In the course of natural events, Isaac could not have been. By the power of God he came into being and from that point, a nation clothed in the supernatural stood up on its feet and began its strange march down the centuries (Genesis 12:1-2).
No other nation in history has had such manifest and visible tokens of the divine presence. For them the Red Sea was driven back and the Jordan parted. They were miraculously fed in the wilderness, sheltered and guided by the divine pillar of fire. For them the sun and moon were stayed in their courses that their enemies might be cut down. They began as a miracle, and their endurance to this hour is a miracle.
Renan wrote: “The philosophy of history fails utterly to account for the Jew.” Hegel confessed that, like a dark enigma, the history of the Jew had tormented him all of his life. Mark Twain said: “All things are mortal but the Jew, all other forces pass, he remains.”
During the 30 centuries of her existence, Jewry has been perpetually stumbling on the verge of the abyss of annihilation, yet always has she recovered her footing and in the hour when nations worked hardest to wipe them out, they multiplied more rapidly than ever. Why? The Word of God has the only answer, and whether some like it or not, stern facts prove the Bible true.
Lord Beaconsfield said: “The attempt to extirpate the Jew has been made under the most favorable auspices and on the largest scale for the longest periods of time. Egyptian Pharaohs, Assyrian kings, Roman emperors, Scandinavian crusaders, Gothic princes and holy inquisitors have alike devoted their energies to the fulfillment of this common purpose. Expatriation, exile, captivity, confiscation, torture on the most extensive ingenious and massacre of the most extensive scale have been tried in vain. The Jew, however, remains!
Like it or not – their preservation is the miracle of history.
Like it or not – the number of the eminent Jews in the world is and always has been out of all proportion to their population. And not because they plotted to put themselves in places of eminence, but because of sheer brilliance and application. Their positions on the faculties of the universities are awarded by competitive examinations, where names are not even signed to the papers, yet under these conditions, they have won out in outstanding proportion.
Jealous as we may feel, the fact is that most of us are greatly indebted to the Jews. It was Jewish money that financed Christopher Columbus and made possible discovery of this county. It was Jewish money that carried through the Revolutionary War. Haym Salomon was the Jewish broker who almost single handedly carried Jefferson, Monroe and Madison through the days of financial difficulties, bringing America to victory. Rarely did Salomon ask interest on his loans and frequently he made loans knowing they could never be repaid. He died in squalor, his lungs choking with tuberculosis. Nothing was done to repay his heirs and nothing to perpetuate his memory.
The number of Jews receiving Nobel prizes is very large, indicating great achievements in science and other worthy causes for the blessing of humanity. Here are some of them: Baeyer - Chemistry, 1905; Michelson - physics, 1907; Ehrlich - medicine, 1908; Lippermann - physics, 1908; Metchnikoff - medicine, 1908; Heyse - literature, 1910; Asser - peace, 1911; Fried - peace, 1911; Baray - medicine, 1914; Willstatter - chemistry, 1915; Haber - chemistry, 1918; Einstein - physics, 1921; Bohr - physics, 1922; Meyerhof - medicine, 1922; Franck - physics, 1925; Hertz - physics, 1925; Bergson - literature, 1927; Landsteiner - medicine, 1930; Warburg - medicine, 1931; Loewi - medicine, 1936; Ossietzky - peace, 1935. Fourteen of these were German Jews and four more were Austrian Jews.
Others, who were some of the greatest helpers of humanity in our age, are: Waksman - discoverer of streptomycin, used to destroy tuberculosis and many other diseases.
Dr. Joseph Goldberger - discoverer of the prevention and cure of pellagra, a disease which, in the South, killed 7,000 and crippled 250,000 yearly. Dr. Goldberger injected himself with the discharges of the dying people, thereby using himself as the guinea pig. He earned comparatively nothing during his lifetime, but his widow was awarded a pension by Congress in 1929.
Poliomyelitis, in the beginning of the 1950’s was considered the most feared killer and crippler of children, and because of this, was called Infantile Paralysis. Through the instrumentality of Dr. Jonas E. Salk, assisted by the staff of the Virus Research laboratory in the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, the Salk vaccine was brought into being. The doctors of America wanted him to receive at least a dollar for each child inoculated, but Dr. Jonas Salk, a Jew, would accept no such financial remuneration. Had his desires been monetary, he could have received countless millions. Today, this crippling disease is hardly remembered.
Atomic energy - Thousands of our boys have been spared, for while Germany killed the Jews, she died, and as Americans protected them, she lives. Through the efforts of Einstein, Bohr, Fajans, Franck, Hertz, Meitner, Admiral Strauss, Lilienthal, Rabi, Oppenheimer, Michelson, and many others, we have the atomic bomb, protecting our country even today and making nations respect us.

If he has heart disease, he must not use insulin, because of the research work of a Jew, Minkowsky. If he has a headache, he must shun ovarmidon and antipyrin, discovered by Spiro and Eilgoe. Anti-Semites who have convulsions must put up with them for it was a Jew, Oscar Leibreach, who thought of using chloral hydrate…”
As a minority group and because they are the one international people, they have been blamed for almost everything, even the black plague of the fourteenth century. In recent years they have been charged with a plot to overthrow all Gentile governments.
And, so, down through the history of the world runs this bloody stream of Jewish persecution, A new tide of hate is rising over the earth in our day and the sorrows of the Jew cry to Heaven for mercy and judgment. Hatred of them has become a fetish with millions of pagans and, strange to say, some deluded Christians have yielded to the influence of the vicious propaganda of hate.
No wonder a great British statesman and educator said recently. “The lights of Europe are going out one by one, the light of culture, learning and human kindness. They are going out because the deified monster, Hitler, is swallowing them.”
Those words are exactly in line with the judgments pronounced by the Word of God. The words of Genesis 12:3, “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all families of the world be blessed,” have not been abrogated by God.
Let all who would persecute the Jew read:
Jeremiah 30:11, 16-20: “I am with thee, saith the Lord, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not have thee altogether unpunished. Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity, and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey. For I will restore health unto thee, and will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an outcast saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after. Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have mercy on his dwelling places; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof. And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.”
If you think the Jew can be destroyed, read Jeremiah 31:35-37: “Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.”
Every Christian with any capacity for spiritual discernment knows that back of the hatred of the Jew is Satan himself. If anything proves the existence of a personal devil, anti-Semitism does. Satan knows that Israel gave us the Book he most despises, the Book that foretells his undoing. Satan well knows that the precious blood that flowed for the sinner’s cleansing came from the wounds and the opened side of a Jew (John 4:22). Satan knows that the scepter has not departed from Judah and that it is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah who will yet rule over the earth.
And Satan knows that nothing so effectually stops the inflow of spiritual blessing from the heart of a Christian as an infection of the virus of Jew-hate. May God fortify the spirit of every reader of these lines against the satanic influences abroad everywhere today, even robbing many a church of divine blessing!
Indeed may every true follower of the Lord exert every effort to combat this present wave of world anti-Semitism. May he pray that everyone may find that individual peace with God and that serenity of mind which is possible only through a faith and trust in the Atonement (Kippora) provided by the Sacrificial Death of the One of 1900 years ago, Isaiah 53 (why He died – an atonement for our sins), and Zechariah 12 (when Israel shall accept her Messiah).
This world of turmoil will in due time be pacified by the visible reappearance of the Messiah of Israel. In the meantime, there is peace and joy and eternal life available to every individual heart by faith in the Great Sacrificial Death on his behalf."
