Good morning, Yesua888;
It's a busy morning here and this thread just caught my attention.
It's a YouTube discussion, thoughts from two sides by a politician and journalist that I highly respect. They're sharing their views on the exegesis of Genesis, comparing it to today's times in Israel mixed with their personal opinion. The good Pastor Adam Fannin gives good apologetics of what Genesis is actually teaching us.
Overall its encouraging that the politician and journalist are discussing this topic which makes room for learning and understanding which may impact their faith today and going forward.
Yesua888, there are some areas of the discussion that may stimulate some disagreement regarding the title, Satanic Israel Genocide, Judeo Christian or statements made in the video.
We will have to monitor carefully the direction of this thread in case it escalates to any compromise of the forum rules.

I have never had respect for Mr. Carlson. There is a reason he was fired from Fox news. He is a hack who does nothing but extreme "got cha" interviews.
The pastor is correct and also incorrect. Judaism is a religion with ancient roots, based on the Torah and the worship of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Zionism, on the other hand, is a modern political ideology that seeks to establish and maintain a Jewish state, irrespective of religious beliefs.

Galatians 3:16 clarifies that the promises God made to Israel to find their ultimate fulfillment in Christ: ......
“The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say ‘and to seeds,’ meaning many people, but ‘and to your seed,’ meaning one person, who is Christ.”
Secondly, the physical land of Israel was always tied to the covenant relationship with God, which included moral and ethical responsibilities. The Israel of the Bible was to uphold justice, care for the poor, and live in obedience to God’s commandments. The modern state of Israel, by contrast, has been involved in an ongoing conflict with the Palestinians, many of whom have been displaced, oppressed, and subjected to what many call systemic injustice and violence. The ongoing conflict in Gaza, where the Israeli military has been accused of war crimes and the killing of innocent civilians, starkly contrasts with the biblical mandate for justice and mercy.
However, we must remember that the Palestinians were offered a two state solution on 2 different occasions and THEY rejected it!

I may be sticking my neck out here, however, we are followers of Jesus Christ, and we should know that the Jewish religion are not followers of Jesus Christ ...

Is it really "dead", or are there still people starving and dying in Gaza? The media are pretty quiet in this regard ... at one stage there were many Countries banding together to help Gaza ...
The original 2 state solution was approved by the Arabs and established Israel and Jordan, now they want more of Israel until there is no Israel. I believe this will be the peace agreement brought by the beast.

Trump and the Net want to build a resort, plus Trumps son-in-law apparently two years ago went over there to discuss making the Gaza Strip into a Resort. This is mind boggling, and in the meantime the "starvation" and "killing" continues ...

Hamas still holds hostages. The war could end tomorrow but Hamas chooses to have it go on, knowing the images of suffering and starving Palestinians will turn the hearts of many in the west.

Not only that but they are liars and do not negotiate in true faith and Israel know that fact.
The nations that recently made statements of a two nation solution did so only for one reason.....to stop the riots and protests by the Palestinians in their country.
Keep in mind there is a land border between Gaza and Egypt, and Egypt has kept it closed to Gazans from day one, yet no one calls Egypt complicit... Why won't Egypt open their border to give these poor souls relief from their suffering? [This is, of course, a rhetorical question.] Truth is Egypt does not want them since historically they caused Egypt much suffering.

I wonder if this forum is the place to post worldly hate propaganda from any source. Can such propaganda be edifying to the body of Christ? We must never forget that God, and not we humans, who is in charge of history, so our earthly opinions aren't of much value except to stir up the devil's divisive dealings.
