If you have masons in your ancestral line - mine being high degree great grandfather maternal line - make sure you denounce this generational curse and ask for guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Exposing Satan Generational Curses Introduction
I was encouraged and recommended by my father. He was a great man but very uneducated. After I took the time to learn what it was all about, I educated him and he denounced the Mason's for what they are, an anti-christ cult.

Maj,

Fantastic!

Now you know it was The Holy Spirit that lead on this.

Hard to De-program a cult member to be sure. Takes supernatural Holy intervention.

My Pastor Jon friend outta’ Texas City, TX quite well versed <grin pun intended> on this sort of intercession. He too had to deal with ancestral curse.

It was not really an ancestorial curse. IT was that he was uneducated and was easily manipulated by others close to him who actually thought that the Masonic Lodge was a higher plane of the Christian faith. They thought that they were helping him.

After I explained and showed him in the Scriptures how Satan deceives and manipulates us, he was quick to denounce the Lodge.

Our family was cursed.
The abuse passed along generation to generation.
It stops here NOW with the knock ✊🏾
Think that the ancestral curse has been over exploited by Charasmatic circles, as thinks it more like your sin nature and bad decisions and choices will have your children see you doing them, and will have a bad pattern to follow , but great news is once saved by Grace of God and now indwelt and sealed by the Holy Spirit, whatever you had is now blown up and torn down

The New Covenant blew away the dependence of ancestor worship - see Book of Hebrews - and Saint Stephen’s speech as he stood in defiance of the stoners.

Fortunately we of the grafting are judged individually by grace.

Not to be one to argue, but IMHO there is no such thing as a generational or family curse.

Deut. 30:19
says we can either choose life and blessing or death and cursing.

The idea I think for most comes from the Old Testament passages which say that God “punishes the children and their children for the sins of the fathers to the third and fourth generation” .

Now, that is not to say that the patterns of sin are passed down through families. However, if we base the actions of what we do on a generational or family curse, we are then removing the Freedom of Choice doctrine that is built into all of the Scriptures.

The Scriptures overwhelmingly tell us the consequences and not curses are passed down through generations.

Actually it comes from here specifically...

Exodus 20:5 KJV
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Exodus 34:7 KJV
Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

I believe it stems from a fundamental misunderstanding of the Gospel.

Think what was being stated there was that the children follow the patterns and model themselves off their parents, so those who rejected Yahweh and walked in own lusts and sins would tend to have their offspring do do same thing

Hello YeshuaFan and Major;

I was listening this morning to Pastor Greg Laurie of Harvest Churches in California and he touched on what you both were sharing. He was brutally honest with the sins of his late mom while growing up. In many ways he had to grow up and take care of her during those extreme times.

Well said explaining the understanding of the context in Deuteronomy 30, and the problems with patterns.

As a lifelong student of the Bible, at times I reflect on the "separate patterns" of my parents, grandparents, last generation uncles, etc...

The Bible isn't just for wisdom and gained knowledge but includes God's guidance in the applications we can apply when we are caught in the middle. There are areas of "pattern" that I wouldn't want to repeat from my generation of family. In those areas God wiped them out forever. Praise Him for that.

God bless everyone.

Bob

Agreed. Isnt that the case for all problems in the Scriptures?

but they are separate entities right?? Or are you saying it's the same??
Membership in the Shriners is exclusive to Masons who have reached a certain degree of Masonic advancement.

Shriners, are a subset of Freemasonry that specifically focuses on charitable work, particularly in the field of pediatric healthcare. While both groups share similar values of charity and fellowship, Shriners have a more specialized focus on supporting children in need.
