I’m on borrowed time?…

Woke up this morning and realised
Im sixty twelve!
And according to the bible
I’m on borrowed time
Three score and ten promised,
I’m past my sell by date!

But hang on a moment
What about Moses, Noah, Sarah
to mention just a few?
Their greatest work done when they were wrinklies
Well past their best before date,

So I suppose there’s still hope for me
there’s hope for me yet,
So watch out world!
Cos if I’m spared for another day,
And can swing a leg out of bed
Without break out into a sweat

I’ll go out in the strength of the Lord

And have my best day yet!
