27 Then the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof.
28 And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment.

27 Then the king said: 'I'm giving the child to the woman who said, Give it to her, don't kill it, because she's his mother.'
28 Well, all IsraEl soon came to hear of this decision of the king, and they were in fear whenever they were in his presence; for they knew that the intelligence of God was in him, and that justice would prevail.
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
27 This shows the God given Solomon had been given to know who the mother was because of her love for the child. It showed mercy from his part because he could have had the child and women killed to no longer have the problem be his. God shows mercy to us which we should show to others and display a Godly wisdom when deciding things.
28 People will notice how the Lord has changed us those that are closest to us should notice the change almost instantly and they should be a knowledge that we are of God and His and with those of the world they may mess with us but if they have their hearts touched by God they may have a fear for us because they have a fear of God but thru Him we might be used to be a witness to bring them to Him by Faith.
