1 Kings 6:27-28

1 Kings 6:27-28 King James Version (KJV)
27 And he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.

28 And he overlaid the cherubims with gold.

1 Kings 6:27-28 Living Bible (TLB)

23-28 Within the inner sanctuary Solomon placed two statues of Guardian Angelsmade from olive wood, each fifteen feet high. They were placed so that their outspread wings reached from wall to wall, while their inner wings touched each other at the center of the room; each wing was 7½ feet long, so each Angel measured fifteen feet from wing tip to wing tip. The two Angels were identical in all dimensions, and each was overlaid with gold.

27 Cherubim are guardian angels that follow or precede the presents of the Lord, in Revelation we see how two angels come before the return of Christ these are Cherubim we also see how angels came before Christ’s birth. The most holy place was a place that they only went into one day a year. The angels filled the wall of the room. It gives this room a very holy presence for Day of Atonement when the high priest would enter there to give the sacrifice.

28 Gold is precious and valuable, it show that this room was of great value and importance.
