Global Religion: The World System. (1)
`The earth is the LORD`s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.` (Ps. 24: 1)
`He (God) has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom.` (Jer. 51: 15)
`….upholding all things by the word of His power,…` (Heb. 1: 3)
We know that it is God who made the earth, the land and the world, the inhabitants. God upholds everything so that it keeps functioning. He has a plan and purpose for the world and its people – His righteous government.
Man, however, has turned away from God. Man does not acknowledge that God made the world but believes that man owns the world. Then man desires to establish his own system of ruling, man`s Global Government. This includes –
the Political, Economic and Religious aspects.
Political – various types of ruling – kings, dictators, State controlled (Communist) people controlled (democracy) etc.
Economic – Buying and selling and sharing. Distribution of goods and services.
Religion – various – Hindu, Buddhist, Mormons, Catholic, New Age, etc.
These three aspects make up the World System with its various ways of operating.
God warns people regarding this World System of man.
`Do you not know that friendship (partnership) with the World (System) is enmity with God! Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the World (System) makes himself an enemy of God.` James 4: 4)
Let`s look a bit more at this World System that man has produced and is operating in the world today.
