7. Global Religion: Global Values.

Global Religion: Global Values.

Thousands of local, national, regional and international organizations have now endorsed the Earth Charter. This earth-based religion spread rapidly into schools, churches, the media industry and other institutions.

Global citizenship education was implemented and seeks to ingrain the idea that we are all one. Therefore, we have to engage as a collective force for global change, and we demand the right to assert our interdependence for the `common good.`

Ultimately, values become universal, spirituality takes on a planetary context, loyalties lie with the Earth, and global management is the only way to overcome world problems. Here are some of the moral values and what they mean.

The United Nations Moral Values.

Tolerance –
is acceptance and appreciation of the rich diversity of our world`s cultures. It is not only a moral duty, but also a political and legal requirement.

Respect – means appreciation for people and lifestyles. (pagan and promiscuous, different sexual preferences etc)

Responsibility –
refers to the `common good` of the community, where individuals must yield to the collective interests. (Socialism)

Civic Virtue and Citizenship – these values are also open ended. Compliant citizens must be ready to conform to changing rules and evolving duties.

Businesses, banks, medical, educational, military, religious etc are all having to abide by these moral values.

God has warned us in His word –

`Do you not know that friendship with the World (System) is enmity with God.` (James 4: 4)

Friendship from the Gk. Word `phila,` friendship and `philos,` partner.
