A doer of the Word – daring to believe

Jas 1:21 Wherefore putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
Jas 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deluding your own selves.
Jas 1:23 For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror:

This is not about our efforts, it is indeed about faith in our God as no man is now nor has ever been capable of living up to the standard of God’s Word on his own. As the Holy Spirit of God gives revelation in the Word one must grasp that Word of God by faith and walk it out step by step believing. It is only when we completely trust Christ that we will see His Word as a reality in our lives.

Who does the Word of God declare you are O son (or daughter) of God?

If you cry out is His power there to deliver you?

If His Word says you can move the mountains in your life and the lives of others is it a Word we can trust, walk out and build our lives on?

Rom 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

You have been given the Word, you have been given a measure of faith and indeed you have been given everything that you require to walk this walk. In your mind what do you lack to see it come to pass?
The key to this situation is not to wait until you see these things come to pass. Indeed you are to step out in faith believing God for the impossible. With God all things are possible and His Word is ever true.
Consider this an exhortation- don’t wait but step out in faith now lest the cares of this world blind you to who and what you really are.
So be led of the Spirit, walk in the truth of the Word in His Power, be that doer of the Word.
