A small idea...maybe it could work?

Hey.

Do you think that as a just for fun thing or something like that, members with 1,000 posts become Premium or Gold members? I think it's a great way to show the devotees of the forum!

The members usernames could be bold orange like this.

Example:
XJay1000
Premium Member
It was just a thought, we don't have to really do it but I kind of thought it was a fun idea. :D

There doesn't have to be any extra features, just anyone with over 1,000 posts is Premium/Gold member!

That has been discussed in the past by the staff.

Based upon observations in other forums where such a feature is in place, it always creates a high level of new member SATURATION POSTING which is very unfair to the older established members in taking all their Forum time - just to read and sort through all the new postings. It is the quality of the posting content that we at CFS wish to see - not mindless quanity postings just to get a high post count.

Aw, poor mark. I've only been here since January and already 900+ posts. Dang...what have I been posting? :eek:
