Ancient Serpent with 2 legs

A snake's anatomy is very different from that of a lizard.
Even if you took a python or snake and put some legs on it, that new creature wouldn't be a lizard.

Snakes don't have movable eyelids, or any eardrums for example.

True there are differences. But I am with Jon, the scriptures teach that the serpents were indeed cursed to crawl in the dust after the fall. That would imply that they were indeed different in the time of the garden.

Hm, that seems like a plausible theory.

I don't see how crawling and limping along in sand and dirt is in any way a "Beneficiary asset" :D

I'm guessing our appendixes just "developed" from no where for no reason ;) Scientists are still puzzled about what the appendix's function is. If only they would consider the Bible, and read it, they would get answers! :)
