I had a guy tell me he wouldn't go to church with his wife because there were hypocrites going there. I said, there is only one person in the church you need to worry about being a hypocrite. He interrupted me and said who, the pastor? I said no. It is you, you are the only one that you have control over, as for the rest... let God deal with them. You should go to church with your wife. The next week his wife asked me what I said to get him to go with her.
I don’t particularly like the word hypocrite but I do sometimes pretend to be someone I am not just to avoid a certain undesirable outcome at that particular time.
Maybe churches really ought to have a sign outside saying
“ enter here all all of you for we are all sinners and no one is good”

The speaker gives a very fundamental teaching about hypocrisy along with some catchy statements. Overall, I agree with the verb of what he is saying.
I'm a hypocrite. When I proclaim I am forgiven and repeat the same sin in front of everyone or behind closed doors, I am a poor representation of Christ. I have to confess and repent on a daily basis.
Let's all be encouraged. God still provides many truly Bible Centered Christian churches that is obedient to His leading. But we must be built up in the Word and discernment because though we feel we have found the right church, every church has their challenges within their inreach.
Unfortunately, there many watered-down churches that can hinder a believer's personal growth in Christ. When we are seeking a church, it must be spiritually led and not an emotional attraction to the glitter.

ya know i can respect you wanting something more than just the local church offers. but as a pastor i get offended by your words churchianity organization. for as many bad churches there just as many God centered that out weigh the bad. your negativity appears as you have a root of bitterness towards the local assembly . i dont understand it your a good guy you know the word . but your outlook towards Church concerns me. this may get deleted but its the truth.
