Thank you for the welcomes! I'm feeling a little lost in here right now but I just need a few days to figure out what's what.

I live on the Canadian west coast up on a mountain ridge with my family. I love the Lord but like most people these days I've been separated from all my Christian friends since last March. These forums seem like an interesting way to enjoy fellowship! If you want to know more about me just ask <3

It's actually quite mild here, mostly rain in winter, because Vancouver island shelters us from the weather coming in off the ocean. Usually. It's a temperate rainforest climate.

I would have never guessed that! That sounds pretty interesting. I think the closest I can relate to anything even remotely similar was the daily rain storms that would come in every day at the same time, when I lived in the Tampa area...lol

So you live in British Columbia? I've visited many times but only in the south Vancouver, Richmond, Penticton.

My wife loves to go to Richmond because of it's great Chinese shopping areas and restaurants.

South Vancouver is where I was born and lived til my 20s. I miss it! It's very busy and crowded now. Where I'm at now isn't exactly peaceful but much quieter than Vancouver. Here there are hilly roads running through little neighbourhoods, some areas total wilderness and other areas more busy.

Hello Autumn;

My wife and I traveled to Vancouver for Christmas our first visit. While there we took the ferry to Victoria Island. It was great time and we were tempted to move and reside there.

Thank you for sharing where you live now. It sounds peaceful and calm.

God bless you and your family.
I haven't been to Victoria since I was little but I remember it was beautiful, all flowers and cool buildings. We would take the ferry to Victoria and then drive up Vancouver island to Cowichan lake to camp. Those were good days:)
