Baptism

A boy who often comes into the library is getting baptised this weekend. I said I would come witness.
I have watched him grow a lot this year. Not just physically but spiritually. He used to be quite cheeky and brash but I saw a real change in him after he admitted he was being a bit of a bully and now he's learning to care for others. He had a bit of adhd and learning difficulties but I have seem his reading improve and he doesnt automatically go and play video games anymore hes into his books.
Please pray for him! He's nearly 10 years old. Hes been through a lot of family upheaval and things.

He says hes shy about people looking at him while hes getting baptised but I said its nothing to worry about. He's getting baptised at the same church I was baptised at.

It's a public display of a personal decision. I get it, as I did not like the idea of having people watch me either.

Praying for him, as he is only 10 he should be allowed to grow up and learn. You can play apart in his spiritual growth through being subtle but direct. Give him a verse of scripture to learn for each Sunday. You reassure him of confidence and also encourage him to use his faith. If you know about him, use that to your advantage.
