Psalm 37:7
Be still in the presence of the Lord
And wait patiently for him to act.
Don't worry about evil people who prosper
Or threats about their wicked schemes.
Sometimes we pray for earthly things, other times we ask for spiritual things. We don't always get the reply we were hoping for. Perhaps the time was not right or maybe what we ask for is not in God's plans for us, or not in our best interests, for reasons we
may not know.
God has plans for each one of us. We must pray with trust.
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all your heart;
do not trust on your own understanding.
No matter what trouble, need or danger we are in we should remember God is with us, He will fight for us. I pray we keep calm and leave all things in the hands of the LORD.
Exodus 14:14
The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.
Be still and wait.
