Hi everyone,

I am wanting some tips on starting to do some calisthenics at home with my brother. We don't have a place to do pull-ups, so that is out of the question. I am just wondering if people have any thought on good work out routines for someone getting into calisthenics?

Thanks in advance!

In peace

Here's some good ones

  • Plank (Hold plank for 30 seconds if you're a complete beginner)
  • Squats.
  • Lunges (each leg)
  • Push Ups.
  • Laying Down Leg Raises.
  • Max Mountain Climbers ( I would recommend 20 each leg)
  • Pike Push Ups

Hi ConsiderHisAwe;

Heres another suggestion.

My wife and I are not members of a gym, so at home I do situps and lift 15pound weights. I rep situps, then rep the weights, then rep situps and rep the weights. By then my stomach and arms feel a good tight grip. I believe this is muscle memory and all good.

I work up a sweat, then follow with regular temperature bottled water, not ice water! So this way you stay hydrated after a long or light workout.

I hope this helps with the other suggestions.

God bless you and your families.
