The Staff is once again reminding all members about Forum Rule 7.1 -
BEFORE any General Member posts a link to another internet location, we are requesting that the member review the website in question BEFORE a link is placed at CFS. If the website sells products or services in ANY way or requests donations or funding, and is posted by a general member, the website link will be removed and the member warned and given warning points - UNLESS permission is requested by the member before posting and authorization is given from the Senior CFS Staff. Permission will ONLY be granted in exceptional circumstances. Rule 7.1 is in place to protect CFS and it's members from liability issues as well as protecting against scamming.
Rule 7.1. If any member wishes to post at CFS with any request for funding, for offering products for sale or to place a link in this forum to any site that requests financial donations or sells any type of products, they must first obtain permission from our Administrative staff via PM. Please include sales details, funding details or the off-site link URL in your PM request as well as a list of products or services that are offered from you or through that site. This permission will only be granted in exceptional circumstances.
If permission is granted to include an off site link on a post to a web page that sells products or services, they must also post the following warning notice together with the link:
"MODERATOR'S WARNING
The link in this post goes to a website which sells goods or services or solicits donations. Members are advised to be wary of ANY such donation requests or sales and to research the group making the request or sales and to PRAY before sending ANY donation or before purchasing any goods or services."
