A person who is a Christian loves Jesus, and in loving Jesus the love everyone who HE loves.

Simple but not easy...until we remember this...

1 John 2: 8- I am writing a new commandment which is TRUE IN HIM AND IN YOU, for the darkness is passing away and the true LIGHT is already shining...

LOVE is always true in Him, therefore it will also be true in us when we are in HIM and He in us.

Praise God for His wonderful gift.

This is so very true and far to many believers act as if walking in Love is a choice where we get to choose who to love or forgive.

They are correct BUT Very Incomplete, for it is a choice - that is to be Obedient or Not !!

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. John 13:34

This truly tells us that we do Not have a choice if we are truly going to walk in His ways. Furthermore you can Not walk in Love and Not Forgive. To say you love but refuse to forgive is an oxymoron to say the least. It is opposed to the law of love.

Thank you Glad4Mercy for this wonderful reminder of who each and every one of us are called to be.

a. Love keeps us from stumbling or causing others to stumble.

1 John 1:10- The one who loves his brother is abiding in the LIght, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him

b. We know that we have passed from death to life by the love we have for the brethren.

1 John 1:14- We know that we have passed from death to life because we love the brethren

c. Christ the example to follow.

1 John 3: 16- By this we know love because He laid down His life for us, and we are obligated to lay down our lives for the brethren

d. Love is more than "lip service" (1 John 3:17-18)

e. BIBLICAL Love is the evidence and assurance that we are saved. (1 John 3:19)

f. Love is the commandment. 1 John 3:23

g.Biblical Love is the fruit and evidence of the Holy Spirit (1 John 3:24)

Love is more important and vital in our walk in Christian then far too many will admit.

Without Love your Faith won't work right and without love one can not forgive and with out Love we can not be as light in this world for Love binds it all together.

Amen! Faith works by love and love is the bond of perfection!

For God is love.

Be obedient to God. Quit doing what we know we shouldn't do and do what we should do; crying out Abba Father for mercy upon an unrepentant world.

Hold me tight Lord, never let me go, use me Lord. In Jesus name, your will be done. Amen

A willing heart is what's sought after soooooo simply be willing to be willing.
