Church on Sundays is just another day in Christ!

We should praise and worship God everyday, not just on Sundays.
We should worship Him in spirit and truth , and not just be an expectator during the worship, like watching a concert.
When i praise and worship my Lord with all my heart, i weep so hard that people around me in the pews could hear me and wonder.
Most of the time, someone would come up to me and ask if i am ok.
Most church goers are not participant in the praise and worship, they are like watching the choir perform.

Thank you for your discernment and observation.

My response to what you shared brings us to the "church service" at the upper room in Acts 1:13. It was foundational in the WORSHIPFUL union to God.

It wasn't dependant on performances during the gathering. It wasn't about spectating. It was about everyone participating in one accord and devoting themselves to prayer.

Praise and worship to God daily is not about "we should" but that "we desire." There still remain many church leaders who teach this to their congregants.

Funny you post this, as Vestal Goodman told a story of how she was so soft in her singing until one day she overheard Happy telling someone that if they couldn't find a singer who could really belt out a tune that they would have to stop touring. She can really belt out a tune!!
