I’m sat here thinking brain in neutral,
Letting random thoughts pass through my mind.
Wonder which ones going to stop and colour my day today?
Will it be grey clouds of depression
Sunshine all the way?
Will there be rainbows of promise?
Although it’s raining right now, it’s good times are on the way,
Will there be storms
Rain, sleet, snow,Howling winds?
A Still small voice cutting through, bringing peace to troubled times
Will there be dreams of the past,
Visions of things to come?
friend forgotten, where are they now?

Will I be in control, able to choose my thoughts
Is there a battle in the heavenlies for mind control?
Should I just let it happen,
see God in it all?
