Nice message from the preacher. When we get into the mindset of not opening up to God, then that sends a message, "do we really have a one on one relationship with God?"

That is so very true. It's good to hear others others speak out about the need for us ALL to seek out the Lord, both in good times, because He is always sought in the bad time. Some, which has included myself at times, just clam up and take it, based upon a more fatalistic bent...and that's wrong.
