our minister asked a question as I was distracted by the empty seats in front of me at church this morning,
what have you done for church?
( I heard in the last thirty seconds)
This is my response
Am I stuck?
(Bums on seats)
I bet the minister can look up from his sermon right now
and know exactly where his faithful congregation will be sat
Me, am I’m getting stuck in a rut
I’m draw to sitting in the same seat whether someone’s sat there or not!
I’m looking at the empty seats in the rows in front of me,
Praying for the bums
that should be on those empty seats
Believing for the day, soon, when it’s standing room only..
With people praising God!…
When the sick will be lowered through the ceiling believing for a touch from God
Er..
May be safer brought through the emergency door, to the front,
but til then
May be I’ll sit in a different seat next week
To see different empty seats
And pray for other souls that should be praising God
In that empty spot?
