Deuteronomy 31;6, Psalm 62;1-2, Isaiah 44;21-22

Deuteronomy 31;6

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them; for the LORD thy God, He it is that doth go with thee. He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Psalm 62;1-2

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from Him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.

Isaiah 44;21-22

Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant; O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me. I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

Amen

Deut 31:6 is a scripture I often think about. In many ways this is describing what it means to trust God. Moses was giving counsel to Joshua who would then be leading Israel into the promised land.

We are given strength from God acting on the faith God gives us. That faith also gives courage and boldness to do what we know to be God's will.
