Happy Birthday to a special friend
Didn’t get chance
Didn’t get chance to practice
I’ve never been this age before,
Seen others reach ‘special birthdays’
And made a hash of it
Fall flat on their face.
I’ve decided I’m not going to sit back and wallow
yearn for past life,
This is the day the Lords made
Going to embrace all that God’s got for me,
And not regret an opportunity missed!
