Do This In Remembrance

1 Corinthians 11:33 tells us that when or as often as we gather together "do this". Meaning, every time we come together there should be somber reflection of Christ's presence with us and what He has done for us. Jesus tells us to wash each others' feet (John 13:14). Not in the literal sense but the spiritual sense. We live life and we get our spiritual feet dirty and it is fellowship that binds us and the encouragement given in those moments of reflections of God's goodness and the vulnerability of one another without judgement. Those acts of kindness in fellowship wash my feet and prepare me to go back out. These gatherings of believers are as close as we can get to Heaven on earth when we do them for the right reasons the right way. God bless you, brothers and sisters in Christ and remember the greatest gift is love.
