Known to audiences around the world through his wide-reaching TV and radio broadcasts, Dr. Stanley modeled his 65 years of ministry after the apostle Paul’s message in Acts 20:24: “Life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about God’s mighty kindness and love.”

He was 90 years old.
 
He served the kingdom well.
Rest in peace.

Dr Stanley will be sorely missed by millions of people, but we know he's home now.

I was so sad when I heard about his passing, yesterday. But, I know heaven was rejoicing. He could preach in a way every person no matter the age, could understand.
 
What's sad as well is the state of his son's life. Andy has gone off the deep end in his theology as a preacher, and is leading many people onto that broad path that leads to destruction. My heart goes out to Charles and his other family for the pain Andy must have/is causing them all.

Not sure what his sons off the deep end theology was all about ? You might have to explain some more
