one which I say aloud or silently every time I start my car,
includes this request:
“Gracious God, help me to see the face of Christ in all I meet,
and to do your work in the world.”

Hello Bob;

When I think of the Face of Christ I'll ask God, "how do I love my enemies?"

The Scriptures teach us to love our enemies, forgive, reconcile and strive toward restoration, especially in areas where we must take our Christian walk to the next level where God will empower us.

At times I'll wake up in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning battling with dark thoughts of someone who may have hurt me, had a fierce argument with, or had to break away from a bad situation. My heart is troubled.

I'll immediately go into prayer and ask God to enable the Holy Spirit to break this "bondage enslavement" of Spiritual darkness in my thoughts. One such incident battled me so I would pray in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning. Though I never timed God, but just in the last couple of days I felt my troubled heart released from this bondage and lightened up.

I don't feel the bondage of Spiritual darkness with this one person. I feel a release and so now I can honestly forgive, allowing the both of us to move on, or move forward.

It took fervent prayer but God is faithful. He brought me peace and calm within myself. He Won the Spiritual battle. Praise His Wonderful Name!

Hello Via;

I was thinking, how about when we were the enemy to another, and how they wondered how to bless us?

No doubt, whatever they prayed for will work because God will not fail them, or us.

Now I remember why I kept asking for forgiveness by going to the Christian Book store and buying forgiveness cards. The store would laugh at me and tell me to keep it up, because I gave them good business. lol!
