Many things have been said about faith and many claims have been made.
And it all has some merit but there is a big difference between receiving a revelation for faith and confirming a intellectual conception, claiming faith. With real faith contrary circumstances don't move it one bit.
We need faith for a lot of things in day to day living but when something blindsided us we may have trouble dealing with it. We know that all healing comes from God, even a cut on our finger, but what if the doctor says we are going to die shortly. We may cry out to God, but it may be a hope so condition. Scripture says confess your faith and believe. If we believe this we will take the adopted baby (intellectual understanding) and confess our faith, until the real one comes.
I'm sure we have all had experiences along this line but sometimes it does good just to refresh on it.
