Fear

Bob Wille (Family)

Passed on, November 6, 2022
The person who is right with me will live by trusting in me.
But if he turns back with fear, I will not be pleased with him.”
Hebrews 10:38

Fear:
• Clouds our judgment.
• Paralyzes our actions.
• Causes us to delay. Rationalize. Over-spiritualize.
• Promotes paranoia.
• Induces us to think irrationally; to lose objectivity.
• Destroys our trust in others.
• Diminishes our ability to believe. Risk. Act.
• Maybe a reason we impute wrong motives to others.
• Is often the product of our pride.
• Refuses to believe God is there; is in control, and can be trusted or taken seriously.

Thanks bob.
I’ve Got to the stage now where by I would hate cross Him. Turning back in fear instead of fearing Him are 2 different things. The latter leads to holiness.
I don’t mind His discipline. I look forward to it.

I really admire your approach to "discipline".
When God disciplines, it's always for our good.
Thank you for your comment and for the others you
have made on past posts of mine.

Wow! I'm not sure how to take your statement.
I firmly believe that God is leading me in many of my posts.
Perhaps He does this because there is someone to whom
a particular verse-quote would be beneficial.
As to you and I being "synchronized" in our thoughts...
I don't know what to say, but thank you for telling me about these occurrences.
