Feet first...
Psalm 119:105
"Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Psalm 119:105.
I have a plague outside our front door with a lighthouse on it and this scripture right below the waves hitting the rocky cliffs. I love it!
I remember when I first tried to quote it from memory I used to get it reversed so that it read.."Your Word is a light to my path and a lamp to my feet."..which is close ..but to get it right I gave myself a little clue to enhance the old memory..that clue is to remember, "feet first." That way I never forget it.
It is so encuraging to know that God's Word does act as a lamp to our feet. As we read it, study it, and meditate on it and apply it in our lives..it is, indeed, like a flashlight on our feet which lights up the path where we are walking. :read-bible:
