Good morning,
From Prim90's posted pictures, in humanity's vain attempt to create humans, as far as I'm concerned there has never been any breakthroughs, the kind that allow the new creations to co-exist and contribute in the world.
Adam and Eve, both foolishly ate the forbidden fruit in Genesis 3:6-12, that led God to drive humanity out of paradise and into disarray to this day. Yet God still made a way out for us if we live in obedience to Him.
Now, Imagine if Adam and Eve attempted to push the cherubim Genesis 3:24 aside from guarding the tree of life. Would that have led God to forfeit Adam and Eve from life, taking away our existence today?
I believe God would still have made a way to re-create mankind and reflect God's nature. He did this with Noah and almost with Moses.
Hi Yuri
Adam and Eve were pur out of the Garden what happened to the garden we are nit told, although we do know that a cherubim was guarding the tree with a sword.
Adam and Eve were the first humans to be born. They were told to multiply the earth.
God Bless Yurri
you are doing things the right way.
Yuri your question be some perplexing. ( Did God banish all of humanity from paradise ??? Because of Adam and Eves sin. ) what other humanity was around for your question to make sense ? The only other humanities upon the earth were now outside the garden that being the children of Adam & Eve. Unless you think there was other created people other than Adam & Eve. Yurii Adam & Eve were removed from the garden for good reason. Because their wayward hands had already partaken from the tree of enlightenment. Imagine if they got their wayward hands upon the tree of eternal life. So it was for the good of humanity that the God removed Adam & Eve from the garden. Imagine living forever in a fallen nature .
View attachment 12519. Of course the quest for immortality has continued through the ages from the occult all the way up to Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein of bringing dead matter back to life. . To placing deceased bodies in cryopreservation awaiting a more permanent cure over death and being restored fully at a later date. All the way to the present with trans humanism.
Good morning, brothers and sisters!
First and foremost, I want to clarify that in starting this topic in our group, I had no intention of creating conflict or initiating a discussion that would offend anyone. I believe that as we walk the path towards the Lord, it’s better to ask questions than to remain in ignorance.
I have absolutely no doubt that Adam and Eve are our first parents, from whom humanity descended. I was simply intrigued by the fact that in Genesis 1, God created "them" (Genesis 1:28: "And God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."), and then, later, formed woman from Adam’s rib.
Therefore, the thought came to me that God created humanity, among whom was Adam, for whom He created Eve so that he would not be alone. And after they sinned, He banished humanity from paradise. And if there were only two of them, then besides Cain and Abel, they must have had daughters, and the entire lineage begins with the sin of sexual relations within the family...
God knows everything that was, is, and will be. Even at the creation of humanity, He knew that this would happen, just as Jesus knew that the apostle would deny Him before he did so: "
33 But he replied, “Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.”
34 Jesus answered, “I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.”
" (Luke 22:33-34).
There are no surprises for God, and I strongly doubt that He intended humanity to begin its existence with such a sin.
If, however, there were other people besides Adam and Eve, it would demonstrate God's perfect plan—to give people the opportunity to justify themselves without beginning their journey in a new world so sinfully. And with all this, we are still descendants of Adam, as Noah is a direct descendant of Adam, and from his three sons (which seems less sinful) the earth was repopulated, while all other people ceased to exist.
Again, I want to emphasize that these are my first steps in reading the Old Testament. I'm trying to understand every word written here, which is why I started this topic.
And in fact, in this entire discussion, I now see two much deeper questions:
First, if there were other people besides Adam and Eve, who were also banished from paradise, then it means that their sins affected all of humanity simultaneously. And it turns out that the sin of one person, in addition to having a destructive impact on that person, inevitably affects others. Moreover, the suffering for sins will come to you and your loved ones at the same time. Often, when people sins and says, "I don't care about myself anymore," they don't even consider that their actions affect their loved ones. If I had understood this 30 years ago, I would have thought ten times before making certain decisions that increasingly distanced me from God.
And second, you know, sometimes it seems that you are so sinful that God will never accept or forgive you, but this connection from Adam to Noah, and the fact that despite Adam's sin, Noah, as his descendant, became a savior for humanity, is, in my opinion, a good example that no matter how great a sin you have committed, if you return to God, He can save you. God is always ready to accept you...
You know, I won't and don’t want to develop the topic of whether there were more people than Adam and Eve—I don't want to create confrontation in a forum aimed at the path to God, not the creation of theories.
But, at the same time, I will keep
these two conclusions that I have drawn:
- my sins affect my loved ones;
- everyone can be saved if they turn to the Lord.
Knowing this will bring peace to my soul, understanding that the Lord accepts me, and also help me restrain myself every time a sinful thought comes to mind—because these thoughts will affect not only me but also my son and wife.
I thank you all for your responses; without them, these reflections and conclusions, which were probably the very idea that the Lord gave me when He prompted me to write this post here, would not have occurred.
With love in Christ,
Yurii
