I came across two sources that proposed that fornication is not wrong according to the Bible.

But based on this logic, pornography is not wrong, and I know that it is wrong. And not fornicating and marrying a virgin decreases the chance of someone getting STDs. I also think that marrying someone who had sex with someone else is wrong, even if the Bible is silent on this issue. What do you think, after viewing the sources ?
 
Didn't watch the film (can't at work). But...
Fornication is having sexual relations with someone other than your spouse.
Spouse being a person of the opposite sex to whom you are married.
The unmarried are to be completely celibate (no masturbation or porn either).
Thems the rules, like 'em or not.
And despite what the film may imply (by what text I can see), that IS Catholic doctrine.

Well, I am not a Catholic, but I do generally agree with you.

Juk got a question for you.
Why do you come across these kind of things in the first place and mostly - why do you allow them any root in your thinking ? If you did not then you would not make a post.

Well, I was bored, so I decided to look up a random word and add exposed to it and search it up online, and fornication was the first word that popped into my mind.

Idle thoughts can lead to all sorts of unrighteousness...even in the mind. We are to take our random thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ. Being bored is a gateway for people to allow their minds to wander into unhealthy territory.

Maybe next time take a jog.

Yep and our enemy the devil gives you word thoughts and you google them and behold - all sorts on ill text to read not to mention allo the graphics ( pictures ) you do not need planted in your mind. Hmm ? another no brainer........lol
