Freestyle poem Storm Inside

Apologies for not posting in awhile. I lose track of places I need to go when writing for a new book.

Poem#4 Storm Inside

The storm inside is raging worse then any storm outside

This Storm came without warning, that no man can predict

Let alone prepare for, but will survive by Faith in Him Alone

Don’t know what’s worse the raging storm or the uncontrollable

Raging thoughts until we fall to the knees to awaken Jesus inside

The sleeping quarter’s of our heart that His Light shines from

Times like these take a deep breath and let the flood of Jesus’s

Words rise up in the Faith we have left and use them to stay afloat

Let Grace like rain wash us clean of the Devil’s birds in our heads

We might not have known when the storm inside will strike

Thankfully we do know Jesus is waiting to calm the storm

He’s only waiting for the Faith He grew in us to bloom

The planted mustard seed of Faith was for a time such as this

The Faith that grows in strength used in times of storms unseen

That God allows so we will let go of pride & reach back to Him

The storm inside from a heart breaking of a sudden loss of Life

Those we hold inside our hearts are precious in God’s sight also

Why the Rainbow of their presence remain in the Son’s Light

God bless you and welcome back, Kyle!

Thank you for sharing Freestyle poem Storm Inside

The storm inside me always reminds me of the Lord and this helps subside my imbedded irritability with the life's situations. Kind of like the thorn in the side.

God bless you, Walker and your whole family.
