GETTING TO KNOW THE WORD!


Heavenly Father, open our ears to hear Your voice, and open our hearts to receive Your love. Come near to us this morning Father as we come near to You as we desire more of You. More of Your love, more of Your presence, more of Your wisdom, more of Your peace. We love You and it’s in Jesus’ name that we pray. Amen.

These are not just idle words for you (The Bible) they are your life. Deuteronomy 32:46-47

WHY WAS THE BIBLE WRITTEN?

Read Romans 15:4 out of the New Living Translation version of the Bible.

Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. They give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises.

For the Word of God is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. It exposes us for what we really are.
