It’s time for summer camps and last Tuesday I got a call for help to cook at a weekend camp for 200
In South Wales uk.
With only a day and a half to prepare No planed menus shopping list
So I just made it up as I went along…
Sunday afternoon all had full stomachs and happy, special dietary requests satisfied
And no complaints from fussy eaters!!!!!
Collapsed in a heap back at my tent thinking at 69 I’m too old for this
Surly there is someone who could have done a better job
I wrote the following

God’s bigger than that



I’m feeling my age
Struggling
But if not me, who?
Is it too much
What you ask?

But Gods bigger than that

Im not very good
Others much better
Here am I send them!
A wall flower
Pew warmer
Backwards at coming forwards

But my Gods much bigger than that!

The fields are white with harvest,
Who’s going to respond to the call?
Never too old
Remember Adam, Noah, Isiah, Daniel, Sarah…
Age is only a number
Our God’s so much bigger than that

Be bold be strong
For the Lord is with you
The battle it’s already won…
Baby steps
Hand in hand with Jesus
A new day
New page will record
The glories of the cross
Jesus recording

Well done

Wow! I don't remember how tired I was at 69, but I can hardly stay awake now.

Do the Welsh enjoy green vegetables? When my oldest daughter was in Scotland one summer she said nearly every menu had green peas. A lot of Americans (excluding me) don't care for broccoli.

Hello Desiring More Truth;

I remember how tired I was at 39 and told an Elder (in his early 80s) at our church that it hurt when I got out bed to go to work.

He reacted with, pshaw! Knock it off! You're still a punk kid. lol!

Now at 65 I find myself taking daily naps.

By the by, I love broccoli and brussels sprouts. My Mom cooked these all the time while growing up.

Ok, I gotta go now and take a power nap! B😴B
