Yes, cacti can be very concerning.

I live in the desert Southwest, where I encounter them frequently on my hikes. All of the photos I include are from those various walks in God's nature. I feel closer to Him in those surroundings than anywhere else.

My dad had a cactus business in Morongo Valley, Ca.. Then moved the shop up to Pahrump, NV. I never ‘felt’ close to God around those prickers. lol.

I am careful to give them a "wide birth" (plenty of space between them and me). But, unfortunately, I still have had some physical encounters with them over the years.

Back in 1995 I started listening to Integrity Music and this song My Help Comes From The Lord was led by J. Daniel Smith.

My brother and sister in law live in Goodyear, AZ. When their son was about 3 years old he got stuck in a cactus plant in the front yard. His mom had to unprick each prick one at a time. Poor guy!
