God's Help

I wish now that I had read this before posting my devotion.
I read Isaiah 26:3-4 and shared it separately but will post it here for encouragement.

Isaiah 26:3-4 (NASB)
The steadfast of mind You will
keep in perfect peace,
Because he trusts in You.
Trust in the Lord forever,
For in God the Lord, we have
an everlasting Rock.

God has blessed all those who receive it. Thank you, Bob, for your continual offerings
of blessed assurance and hope for the day. ;)
 
God is a great source of help and guidance that we can rely on. I love the reminder also that follows this verse.

1 Chr 16:12 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; (KJV)

At one time I consider this only referring back to the great wonders that God did for ancient Israel as they came out of Egypt, but we as Christians have personal great wonders that God does in our own lives and the lives of others around us. Remembering these wonders builds on the trust and confidence God gives us. In this way we can stand very confident in God as the source of our help.
