God's Peace

but is rather the confidence that He is there with you always.

Stopping to smell the roses, gives us time and space to hear God. There can be a lot of noise in the world that can bring doubt and confusion with it.

If we take a moment to pray, while in the midst of our troubles, we can often clear some of the fog and see better how to proceed.

I think about peace as taking the time to trust God, to rest sure that he is with us through out the day, in all of our trials, a guide, a help, a source of comfort.

So many of the fruits of God have an element of faith. Peace comes from our trust in God without that trust there is no peace. If we strive on our own or follow others besides God we discover that our foundation is like sand and when trouble comes we are soon deep in mire or mud. Only in trusting God can we have real peace.
