For the Android users out there, I recommend you try the Google Now Launcher - this is a great launcher which redesigns your menu and layout.
I find it really easy to use and navigate. It is FREE so why not give it a try.

I have also downloaded the Google Keyboard to accompany it - this allows swipe to type which is what I like as it takes less effort.

I love Google keyboard and use it always. Swipe is an amazing feature and helps to speed up typing speed. For launchers, Good Now is definitely a nice one. There are other good free ones. Apex and Nova are good options as well. they have pretty low memory usage

Swipe is a great feature - I think the layout of the Google keyboard is more clear than the default Samsung keyboard that my Galaxy S6 is loaded with.
