This minister is so correct in what he says. Far too many people see themselves and their performance through the multi-colored lenses of what others say or think about our performance and our faith rather than stand up against the "measuring stick" of the standards of Christ Jesus and His words to us.
The lenses of how others see us through are always shifting colors and light throughput, but the measure of Christ is never changing, and so will never give to us a false sense of anything other than where we truly are in Christ Jesus. When we seek His pleasure rather than the pleasure of others in relation to your performance, it is THEN that we will understand what we need to do in order to seek out the Lord to strengthen us where we are weak.
