Today I am so grateful. I was listening to Skip Heitzig and one of the things I learned about 2 Samuel. When you sin, there is natural consequences. Like when David's first son died. God may choose to heal you out of his grace and, but He isn't obligated to. You still have his forgiveness. Healing is temporal, forgiveness is eternal. Today I am so grateful that despite of our sins - he forgives us. He gives us grace, compassion and he never abandons us.
