Well, personally, I enjoy history. It's a VERY useful tool for betraying many of the modern narratives for the lies that they are. The lies perpetuated only because of the goldfish memory skills, and utter indifference, exhibited by so many in the populations of modern culture.
Here is a prime example as to why our institutions of "higher education" and public schooling systems alike hate history and the availability of evidence that goes against the media and political propaganda!
That revelation made by Arafat, a man who kept American foreign aid sent to Gaza for many years, and enriching himself from our money slated for schools and hospitals...
However, we see in this example that even Sunni leader viewed his competition! This video is very damaging to the support for Hamas, and so the hatred against the existence of anything from history that stands as a contrast to the contrived, manipulative narratives that actually have people out there supporting terrorism!
