Have any of you ever dealt with Demonic encounters once saved?

As know my Senior pastor stated once in his life had to assist in a so called exorcism, and that was very nasty dealings, a prolonged confict, and he never really has shared what really happened to the pastors that were involved
 
Demons are very real, and the destruction they cause is for the gain of satan.
Make no mistake, those that have had experiences with them rarely discuss it.
The world does not believe that our Father in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, has the power to cast them out.
Therefore, they do not believe demons have any power on earth. That is a dangerous view.
What belongs to our Father, does not belong to satan. The two cannot exist in one body.

Please ask elder male pastors about this subject for your further study, if genuinely concerned.

Good morning, thenami;

Amen. Every Christian experiences the attacks of the devil, perhaps not as intense like the movies of "over sensationalism," but it can happen.

Every man and woman who receives Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will battle spiritual warfare, battling against the devil.

I have never performed an exorcism but have had countless one on one meetings and prayers with men and women over the most extreme circumstances.

I can't measure the minimum or maximum spiritual attacks. There are so many various ways we experience principalities of darkness. A battle is a battle and it's our call to stand firm against the evil one, and in some cases if that means seeking help from minister, as YeshuaFan pointed out.

thenami makes a good suggestion about asking our ministers regarding this subject, or for further study.

I just wonder how much of what we attribute to drugs and alcohol and mental illness issues might involve the demonic, but also aware that sometimes demons are blamed for nearly anything, and problem is that the individual just wishes to keep on sinning themselves and feed their sin natures.

Think it was CS lewis that stated satan wants us to hold either extreme view on Him and his activities, one would be does not exist, all made up, or else he causes everything bad that happens, and that he is essential God powerful

devil only puts it in front of us with temptation.. until one has been in the drug and alcohol world they can never understand it .. i am 64 still have friends in the alcohol drug world . live hard and they die hard
