I would opt for a NKJV study Bible and Strong's Exhaustive Concordance. If God told you thast goingm forward, can use only 1 Bible , and only i other refernce tool, what would they be for you, and why?
I would be 50% with Bible lover........Strong's Exhaustive Concordance and the ESV Bible. If God told you thast goingm forward, can use only 1 Bible , and only i other refernce tool, what would they be for you, and why?
Or could opt for th esv concordance insteadI would be 50% with Bible lover........Strong's Exhaustive Concordance and the ESV Bible.
Mine would be esv Study Bible, and a really good daily devotational, like my utmost for His highest or something similiarI would be 50% with Bible lover........Strong's Exhaustive Concordance and the ESV Bible.
That would work as well.Or could opt for th esv concordance instead
I chose Strong's simply because it contains the Hebrew and Greek lexicons. That's like sneaking in two extra books over the limit of the two allowed. Young's Analytical Concordance is another good concordance. The analytical order and nature of the entries according to their original-language is one advantage over Strong's.That would work as well.
I agreed with you on the Strongs because you did and you are the man and I want to stay on your good side.I chose Strong's simply because it contains the Hebrew and Greek lexicons. Think people do not know just how much better we have it now for bible studies, as back in the "good old days", forced to memorize greel alphabet, learn some vocab used the greek lexicons and things like the Moulten greek concordance, but now with bible software just click and point and read off the screen
If you want to have some fun, trying using the Youngs Literal translation, interlinear before there were really anyI've been using Strong's and Thayer's for over 30 years. In my view, there's no better way to understand the scriptures. I also use the interlinear - 'scripture4all'. So that means I use the KJV for study but have no problem using other versions for general reading
What bible app?I would try to bargain with God, "How about 1 Bible App?", otherwise a KJV (NASB-1995 2nd choice)/and a Youngs Concordance.
I have a number of them, but I find Olivetree the most useful. What bible app?
