If God Were To Appear To Them All

Here's one of those rare videos where an atheist admits she would never worship God even if He appeared right before her eyes and spoke to her.

This reflects exactly what Abraham said to the rich Jew in torment in Sheol, in that even if the dead raised up and spoke to the people, they would still not believe.

What's mum in many Christian circles is the discussion about the lost, and their choice to remain lost because they prefer to keep their sin upon themselves.

Watch this, and offer your thoughts:

She strikes me as the kind of person who hides behind the group. I doubt she would remain so defiant in the actual face of God. People like this are all talk and no walk.

I don't know about that. The depths of depravity are not limited by the colors of what our mindset portrays to us.

My dear brother......I have had men curse me and the lord for approaching them about accepting Christ. Then comes the end and............

I can give you story after story but they are all the same!

The man who says he hates God, and curses the Lord Jesus always lies on his death bed sobbing and slobbering and crying out to God!

But.........Me, being one who does not believe in death bed confessions has had to look in the eyes of those people one last time and say....."May the Lord have mercy on your soul" when in fact I know that there is NO mercy ahead of that person.

I had a man who was the husband of a wonderful lady. She used to work for me. He was a supervisor for Florida Power and Light Co.
She called me one day and asked me to visit her husband who was in the hospital sick. He was an athiest. I had tlaked to him many times. He was a drinker, a liar, a God hater and laughed and bragged that when he got to hell he would see all of his friends.
He was NOT sick, he was dyeing with pancreatic cancer. When I walked into his room, he looked at me with tears running down his face and asked me......What can I do now????

It was at that very moment I saw the look of total fear on his face. When the end comes......all atheists want to be saved!!!!!!

That is a very powerful story. Thank you.

For this person, with her attitude, heaven would be a living hell.

I could tell you a hundred more brother. ALL are sad!

One of the worst was when one of my deacons called me one afternoon. He said that his aunt of about 85 was a lost woman, however, he said that he had been talking to her and she asked to talk to me. When we got to her house, the neighbor said that they had taken her to the hospital.

When we got there we found out that she had had a massive heart attack and she had all kinds of tubes going in and out. She never regained consciousness and died right there in her sin. That deacon was a mess. He said that she seemed like she wanted to accept Christ but wanted to THINK some more about it and asked to talk to me.

What could have been will never be known!

I know the following is not Biblical, but I like to think that at the moment of death, when we finally see God face to face, we are given another chance. Jesus himself said to forgive seventy times seven times. I hope this is true and those who die having not accepted God will not be abandoned to Hell out of their mortal ignorance and stupidity. I like to think that we in the flesh are but spiritual infants and a loving God would never allow an infant to make such an important choice.

The idea is appealing and I would like to think that as well, but brother, YOU know that aint the case.

Physical Death is the instrument that closes the door to any chance of salvation!

There is NO such thing as Purgatory.
There is NO such thing as being saved after we die.
There is NO such thing as a 2nd chance after death.

That is the reason why the Bible says, in 2 Corinthians 6:2.....“I tell you, now behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."

But.....would she receive a new body, and a new mind with a born again spirit!
Obviously not.
Saul of Tarsus...
Acts 8:3
But Saul began ravaging the church, entering house after house, and dragging off men and women, he would put them in prison.

Acts 9:1-2
Now Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest, [2] and asked for letters from him to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the Way, both men and women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

Yet, the Lord Jesus turned his heart around as he could this atheist.
