INFO: Wednesday - Thursday June 06-07

We are seeing an increase in available Gulf of Mexico moisture feeding a storm system which will be affecting the central plains states and central and upper midwest on Wednesday, June 06 into Thursday June 07.

Persons from northeastern Texas through eastern Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and the Dakotas should monitor local and regional weather broadcasts for advisories, watches and warnings on Wednesday. The potential for long duration tornadic thunderstorms throughout the area is very high.

Persons from Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, western Tennessee, western Kentucky and Indiana can expect the same for Thursday.

As this storm system moves eastward, it will produce high winds, hail, torential rainfall and some strong tornadoes. Please monitor official NOAA, NWS and local media broadcasts for up to the minute information.
