Good Day, Friends; Hurricane Sally has caused significant wind and flood damage in Southeastern Mississippi, Alabama and northwestern Florida. This hurricane made landfall in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, Alabama, as a Category 2 storm on September 16, exactly 16 years to the day after Hurricane Ivan devastated the area. Today we are asking that you keep the victims of Hurricane Sally in your prayers. Thank you and may God Bless.

We are getting heavy rain from it now, and we are currently under a tornado watch. Im more concerned with flooding, as water levels remain high from the last hurricane that came through. This season concerns me, as this area has also seen repeated destruction.

Prayers for everyone as far as weather is concerned.

Hello thenami;

To me it gets so overwhelming with these natural disasters all around the world. We're praying daily for the families who have lost their loved ones and yes, it gets trying for the families whose loved ones are caught up in the middle of it.

Lets remember that though the Scriptures may fall short and we may not understand why, but God remains God who knows what He is doing and still with each of us who stand firm in our steadfast love and trust in Him.

I know this may be hard to sink in, so lets pray for each other, right now and here at CFS, that the Holy Spirit will move within us with renewed strength in Christ.
