Good Day, Friends; Today we are quoting a New Testament scripture with a brief explanation. Romans 12:18 (KJV), " 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men."
When the Apostle, Paul, offered that teaching, he made it clear that while we should try to get along with everyone, there are some persons who are just plain evil and we can not get along with them. That is why Paul said, "If It Be Possible..."
We use our discernment to know such persons and once we at least make an attempt to be friendly and our offer of friendship is rejected, we pray for them and move on, knowing that we at least tried.
May God Bless.
